Joimove Ladies, Friends, Families Instructor
I have been dancing ever since I can remember. My grandparents loved to dance and my grandmother used to dress me up as Carmen Miranda and encourage me to perform when I was only 3. I started a dance school at that age which focused on Latin American and ballroom dance and from then on dance was never out of my life. Dance is something that makes me happy and I love to see the positive impact it has in peoples lives. I am mum to an amazing three year old girl Isabella. One of the greatest gifts of my life is being able to share my love of dance and music with her. It has encouraged her creativity and allowed her to feel confident and comfortable in her own abilities. I met Selen while attending a Joimove class for mums and babies. It was a lifeline for me. I am a single parent and I was not able to attend dance classes or events so having this class made me incredibly happy. I was able to dance with my baby and enjoy the company of other mums. It brought so much joy and fun into our lives and allowed me to dance again. I see dancing as a way to invite more joy, love and friendship into my life and the life of my daughter. I am so happy to share these moments with other women and their beautiful children. I now teach classes, not only because I enjoy it, but because I also believe in it. I believe dance has an uplifting and connective power for adults and children. I am so excited to be a part of this movement.
